  1. My friend wears scrubs only because she goes to work to the hospital straight after her classes, but when she doesn't work, she skips such uniform and wears normal clothes to the classes. Oh, I almost forgot to mention: she told me she wears scrubs when they have labs and clinical, but not to lectures.
  2. This pretty skirt will show everyone a little leg thanks to its slit. There are countless of interesting ways how to wear wrap skirts in real life. For instance, you should look for details in your wrap style skirts, I mean, use little detailing to let your skirt be centre of everyone's attention, all you need is to add an eye-catching accessory or something and place it somewhere on your skirt. Don't be afraid mixing color and patterns, pair printed skirt with dark solid color top or jacket to create an original outfit. If you do like dark colors, then you better give a try to navy hue, it's more interesting than black. The fabric of wrap skirt should be luxe. How about leather or suede? A heavy fabric bottom piece will ideally look paired with lightweight top. A mini wrap skirt can be worn not only during special night events, but also in daytime, try on mini with sporty sneakers or statement gladiator sandals.
  3. Empire waist dresses with no sleeves or with no fabric on your arms will certainly make you look pregnant. If you already bought yourself a sleeveless dress, then I recommend to layer it over a thin long sleeve or 3/4 sleeve shirt or blouse. The loose-fit silhouette of such frock should be balanced with form-fitted bottoms, like sexy panties, pencil skirt or skinny jeans. As you all know, balance is the key when it comes to dresses, that's why I highly recommend to choose an empire waist dress with a hemline that falls mid-knee or 2 inches below knee, so you avoid looking heavy in your waist area. Plus, you will need a good supportive bra. This is very crucial while wearing such dresses. Another tip is to keep attention to your waistline: it should not hit exactly under bustline. Plus, you will look much slimmer if you will choose a V-neck wrap empire waist dress.
  4. Yep, there should not be a gap between boot top and trousers bottom. Trust me, no one will notice you have too long trousers, but you will surely have dry feet all day long during your skiing activities! How long? 2 extra inches will make all the difference. Plus, most ski trousers have snow gaiters at the bottom of the leg opening that prevents snow from getting in.
  5. I am also a big fan of A-line dresses as they are incredibly versatile and flattering. I have several designs in A-line silhouettes with a fitted top and flared out bottom. It professionally hides my problem areas in stomach, hips and thighs. Anyway, black color style can be worn for both day and night events. All you need is to choose right accessories to look appropriate. I use to wear black dresses to special evening events completed with golden jewelry and accessories, but for day semi-formal occasions I compliment my frock with colorful accessories and simple jewelry. Speaking of casual events, then I love dress my frock down with printed bombers. Oh, I almost forgot to mention metal belts. This addition will easily show off your glamour side, all you need is to attach it around the smallest part of your waist and you are ready to shine!
  6. I always love to highlight my neck area, that's why my favorite dress I use to wear all the time is a halter frock. I also use to wear it to work. BUT! The thing about halter is that is should be worn in the same way as a strapless dress, I mean, your shoulder skin has to be covered in order to make it work-appropriate. You might say it's a challenge, but in reality it can be fixed in a one simple way: JUST cover your shoulders with blazer or cardi. These two pieces work great for me, it's sort of a shell that ideally hides my bare skin. So, if you do want to wear halter dress during work hours, then you better cover it with office friendly layering.
  7. First of all, you will need a dress that is made of heavy fabric. If you don't have one, then you can use summer maxi gowns. All you need is to layer them with appropriate sweaters, jackets and coats. Choose the right scarf to safe your neck, choose block heel ankle boots to offset a romantic spirit and add a rock-and-roll inspired leather jacket for a practical edge. As I have already mentioned: LAYERED UP look is very important, you can go for a lightweight summer maxi dress in semi-sheer fabric and style it over turtleneck sweater dress teamed with OTK boots. Keep attention to details, add beautiful jewelry, printed shoes, scarf and bag. Don't be afraid playing with multiple patterns and textures. I do love to see women who appear on the streets wearing maxi gowns with asymmetric hemlines and classic prints.
  8. High waisted skirts are ideal to make your legs look longer, leaner and sexier. I do wear them to accentuate my waist. You are free to add skinny or wide belts to draw everyone's attention to your streamlined silhouette. If you do want to make a sexy spin, then the best way to do so is to try on a mini skirt that can be decorated with zips or padded details. This is a head-turning option you can wear with printed or classic color shirts or blouses. You can give a try to floating fabric midi skirts, this is a fresh summer effect for boho lovers. Keep your top and skirt structured and put together if you want to achieve an elegant look. Anyway, classic high-rise look is achieved by pencil skirts. You can also play with midi skirts made of leather, velvet, croc-effect patent finish, or completed in silver metallic pleats.
  9. Fit and flare dresses look good on most bodies. I personally have an inverted triangle body shape that looks great with fit-and-flare dresses. The frock ideally flatters my broader shoulders and narrower lower body, the result looks like I have a hourglass silhouette. By the way, pear shaped ladies will love fit-and-flare dress, as it will high-light the smallest part of your waist and make you look feminine and chic. For pear shaped ladies I recommend to try on off-shoulder styles!
  10. This is a perfect dress for spring and summer season months. This is a perfect substitute to classic little black dress. If you don't know what to dress, then a black shift might be an answer. It will work for any occasion, it also works for every body type, no matter if you are pear or apple shaped, it looks stunning. You have a freedom of choice: to dress it up or down however you want. I personally love this design for a kind of breezy appearance and feel. Make this dress look casual by styling it with a pretty classic chambray shirt, cute espadrilles and brimmed hat. You can make it look awesome for a date night, all you need is a bright color blazer, ankle-strap sandals and chunky necklace. It also can be used for working hours, just layer it with a slim-fit blazer in neutral hue, add opaque tights and mid-heel shoes.
  11. I love beige color chinos! They look both elegant, professional and casual. Just make sure to style them with a fitted top. A next level can be achieved by layering your fitted top with a long blazer. Better keep it in a fitted style. A more formal and professional and a little bit pulled together look can be achieved by tucking your button-down shirt into chinos pants completed with skinny brown belt and mid-heel pumps. Another thing that makes me love chinos is a kind of laid back look that feels casual, but you can make it very professional, all you have to do is to add a kind of classy top and blazer.
  12. A peasant skirt looks very gypsy to me. Most of styles come in bright prints, but you can find lovely creations colored in solid hues (neutral and bright shades). This bottom piece works well when mixed with structured pieces, like fitted tanks, cropped cardigans, cute t-shirts, etc. Due to the fullness of this skirt you will need something flattering and balanced. Believe me, if you will wear something less fitted, you will end up looking baggy and heavy. I personally wear tops that come with fitted waists, while sleeves can be puffed. The result has to be comfortable, feminine and easy to style.
  13. Long skirts can be A-line shaped, knee-length, pencil style, loose-fitted, free-falling semi-sheer, maxi and tube shaped. I personally think that all these skirts look great with ankle boots, no matter if they are flat, heeled, classic or edgy. This is one of the best combos for fall season. I personally wear short booties with long, below-the-knee pencil skirts. The result looks classy, elegant and feminine. Such look doesn't need any special details or embellishments. Lots of boots no matter if they are high or short look great with full skirts. It's acceptable to mix and match different boots lengths with long skirts. By the way, I am a big fan of tea-length column skirt worn with sexy suede booties.
  14. Straight leg jeans come with a really good fit that is not too tight and with a good medium weight denim that will last for a very long time. Plus, it's a perfect everyday staple that can be worn with almost any style of shirt, sweater, blouse and tee. You should really give a try to these beautiful, timeless essentials. I personally have two pairs of straight leg jeans in my closet, one in dark and other in baby blue color. I use to wear them with long feminine printed blouses, loose-fit cardigans, peep toe shoes, classic pumps and ballet pumps at the weekend. You can add a hipster edge by wearing a slouchy pair of straight leg jeans with turned up cuffs, cool breton stripe top, or oversized jumper completed with stylish pair or trainers.
  15. One of my friends advised me to try on a black sheath dress. I don't know what is the look of such dress and how to wear it. Can you please explain me what is so special about this frock and what to wear it with? Thx!
